Artist, songwriter, and Grammy nominated producer Butch Walker has been hailed by Rolling Stone as “one of America’s best singer-songwriters.”
The Yamaha artist invited us into his RubyRed Productions studio in Santa Monica, where along with his own records, he has produced music by the likes of Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Taylor Swift, The Struts, P!NK, and Brian Fallon.
During our visit Butch gave us an insight into his life as an acclaimed producer, talking us through his processes, preferences, and the production of his 2016 song “Wilder In The Heart.”
Watch the 3-part video series below.
Whilst we had the opportunity, we also browsed through Butch’s extensive collection of Yamaha guitars; from a vintage FG to current BB and lots in-between, he has an impressive arsenal! Click through the gallery above to check it out.
