Brad Lang


Brad Lang is the bassist for the legendary American rock band Y&T. He has been touring the world with them since 2010, and recorded the Y&T: Live at the Mystic CD in 2012. He has been playing bass since the early 80‘s with his first record deal with Relativity records for the band Jet Red.Between then and now, Brad has done live tour performances with Foreigner, George Lynch, Michael Lee Firkins, and Frank Hannon of Tesla.

Besides substituting for Jeff Pilson in Foreigner, Brad has shared the stage with Vinny Appice (Dio), Kenny Aronoff (John Cougar, Bon Jovi, Avril Lavigne) Jason Bonham (Led Zepplin, Foreigner), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck), Bobby Blotzer (Ratt), Billy Carmassi (Jet Red, Aldo Nova, Sammy Hagar), Cortney DeAugustine (Montrose, Frank Hannon Band, Michael Lee Firkins), Jimmy DeGrasso (Y&T , Alice Cooper, Black Star Riders), Michael Lee Firkins (Solo Artist), Michael “Fro” Frowein (Lynch Mob, War & Peace), Loren Gold (The Who, American Idol), Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake, Night Ranger, TSO), Frank Hannon (Tesla), Kelly Hansen (Foreigner), Paul Holdgate (Montrose), Vic Johnson (Sammy Hagar), Mick Jones (Foreigner), Troy Luccketta (Tesla), George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob, T&N), John Mader (Joe Satriani, Steve Miller, Pat Benetar), “Atomik” Tommy McClendon (UFO, Soul Motor), Mitch Perry (Edgar Winter, Talus, MSG, War & Peace, Lita Ford, The Sweet), Jeff Pilson (Dokken, Dio, Foreigner, T&N), Jeff Scott Soto, and Geoff Tate (Queensryche). Brad has performed on countless recordings, including Jet Red’s self titled release, Roger Hodgson's (Supertramp) "Hai Hai," Tommy Tutone's "Rich Text Files," War and Peace's (Jeff Pilson - Dokken, Dio, Foreigner), "Live at the Cavern Club", Canada's Raw Red Moses self titled release and Benedictum's "Uncreation," to name a few.

Brad’s live touring setup is a custom pair of TRBX 505 5-string basses.
